Well it’s still Winter Closure time in Stanislaus NF but there is a pretty cool area that’s still open and that is Hunter Creek OHV behind Tuolumne City.
This is a Dual Sport event that will stage from Gold Country Adventure Cycle, 578 W Stockton St, Sonora 95370. Arrive by 8:30 – 8:45 am. There will be coffee and donuts at the shop!
From the shop we will head to Black Oak Casino to top off you’re gas. There is also a resturant and mini mart in the gas station store. Kick stands up by 10am from the casino gas station.
Non-Plated Dirt Bikes will need to stage up the hill from the Bridge in Hunter Creek. Call for Info!
This a GPS guided ride. There will be an overview map but no route sheet will be provided. If you don’t have a GPS let us know and we will try to hook you up with someone that can lead the way. The GPS track will start from the casino.
Anyone with GPS and interested in leading a small group, 3 or 4, please let us know as not all have GPS.
From the casino we head out Bucannan Road and drop into the Tuolumne River canyon, cross the bridge and away we go! 60+miles of delapidated forest roads and selected trails. Skill level is targeted for intermediate riders but doable for most novice riders.
